Dear Parent,

At the Winchester School, we believe in providing our students with an array of educational and enriching

opportunities that will take them beyond the classroom learning. The Science Department has arranged a trip to the BITS PILANI Biotechnology laboratory for Year 13 science students on Tuesday 21st March 2023 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The students will leave at 9.00 a.m. using school transport and will come back by 1:00 pm and board the 2:00 pm bus.

During the visit, the students will have the opportunity to observe and participate in scientific experiments, learn about the tools and equipment used in the lab, and interact team of experts in their respective fields. The field trip is designed to give students a firsthand experience of what it’s like to work in a scientific environment and inspire them to pursue a career in science.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and allow your children to participate in this educational experience. The cost of the field trip is AED 20/- per student, which will cover transportation cost. It does not include food; students must carry their own food and water.

All students need to be in complete school uniform. PE uniform is not permitted. They should carry Emirates ID and school ID. Limited seats are available so it will be on first come first serve basis.
